WHAT CEO BOARD MEMBERS DO
Board members are active, engaged community leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to the operational oversight of our local CEO Program.
Facilitator Support: Board members provide ongoing support to the CEO Facilitator.
Event Planning: Board members plan and execute key CEO events, including investor and mentor socials, and the student trade show.
Student Recruitment & Selection: Board members organize recruitment efforts, engage with local schools, and oversee the selection of CEO students.
Mentorship Coordination: Board members recruit mentors, manage mentor-student pairings, and ensure mentor program success.
School Liaison: Board members maintain communication with school administrators to coordinate student participation and scheduling.
Investor Recruitment & Care: Board members recruit and maintain relationships with local investors, ensuring the program's financial sustainability.

OwnerBoard Chair Committees: MentoringChristy is a serial entrepreneur who has a continual love for learning, teaching, and giving back to her community and those around her. She earned her undergrad degree in Human Services with a Minor in Business Administration and continued to earn her master’s degree in Leadership and Development, as well as a Women’s Global Leadership Certificate all from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. It is there where she also continued to purse her education with a Ph.D in Global Leadership and Communication. Christy and her husband own two businesses and a nonprofit organization in their small-town of Sullivan, Indiana, where they focus on community development and educational services. Together her and her husband have 6 beautiful children, and 3 grandchildren.

With over 16 years of experience in many different areas of Information Technology, he strives for better network security using the latest technology and techniques to protect the health system. He is passionate about serving and leading others, learning new skills, being challenged, challenging others, and making atremendous impact on our community. Close to his heart are the people of Nicaragua, where together, a team from Maryland Community Church travels for mission trips annually.He loves Jesus, his wife and three kids, serving at church,and being active on land and water.

CPABoard MemberRyan is currently a tax manager for Sackrider & Company CPA’s. He graduated from Sullivan High School in 2002 and received my BS in Accounting from The University of Evansville in 2006. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited Business Valuator, and Certified Valuation Analyst. Born and raised in Sullivan he briefly lived in Terre Haute before returning home. Through his employment at Sackrider & Company he has worked with companies in various stages of growth and in many industries including ag, manufacturing, retail, medical practices, law practices, and others. Ryan is married with three children. He currently serves on the boards of The Estate Planning Council of Central Illiana, the Kiwanis Club of Terre Haute, and the Sullivan County Youth Soccer Association. In his free time he enjoys traveling, attending the kids sporting events, and cooking out.

Board MemberBoard MemberI am Carri Howard and a current member of the Sullivan County CEO board. Additionally, I serve on the Dugger Union Schools Board of Trustees. I am happy to be associated with groups aspiring to provide support for today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders. My educational background is in Elementary Education having received both my undergraduate and master degrees from Indiana State University. I was an elementary teacher at Dugger Elementary School for thirty – four years. Since retiring in 2014, I have maintained a connection to education through my work on the school board as well as supporting the various sports teams and organizations associated with DUCS. I am a lifelong resident of Dugger and am a wife, mom, and “Meme” to my grandchildren.

OwnerBoard MemberMy name is Halee Robbins and I’ve been married to my husband, Darren, for nine years. I’m the proud mother of two busy girls, Elliana (almost 8) and Ivoree (6). I’m also stepmom to Tristan, Josh and Adele. I was born and raised in Dugger. After college, I lived in Indianapolis for six years and relocated to Arlington, VA for ten years before moving back to the area in 2022. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana State University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Ball State University. I’m a Certified Public Accountant with 17 years of government finance and accounting experience specializing in the Department of Defense (DoD). I founded my business, ORACON Inc., in 2014. ORACON Inc. is a Woman Owned Small Business providing financial consulting services for the DoD. I currently have eight employees in Virginia, Ohio and Indiana that support the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a financial system used by most DoD agencies and the Marine Corp for budget, finance and accounting operations to provide accurate, reliable and auditable financial information. I served all six years of my daughters’ preschool years on the school’s Board of Directors in the Treasurer and President positions. My focus on the Board was primarily financial related (invoicing, budgeting & accounting). During my time as President, I led the preschool through the pandemic and biggest financial/operational crisis in the school’s history. My favorite thing in the whole world is being a mom. When I’m not shuttling my girls to their many activities, I enjoy watching tennis, coaching volleyball, traveling, spending time with my family and movie nights with my girls.
