Introducing the new Sullivan County CEO Students for 2024-2025
JAYLA PHILLIPS
Hi! I'm Jayla, I am 16 years old I am a Junior at Sullivan High School. I decided to take the CEO Program because I have ran my own small business of making custom T-shirts, stickers, and occasional wood engravings using my cricut for about 2-3 years. Just selling to family and friends, later this year I lost all my money when I left it in the mall bathroom and it was stolen. But with hard work I built it back from the bottom. Now having over half the money I lost. So I am in CEO to make my business bigger and to get more customers, to learn how to market and network, to do so many things. Other than running my own business, I also play soccer, bowling, and archery. And I have many siblings who I help my mom take care of, I am a giant help for my mom. I also do National Honor Society. And I try my best to keep myself afloat with all my classes. My favorite class is the CEO Program by far, but I also do child development and teaching. Which means I go over to the elementary and help teach the younger kids which I adore. After high school I wanna go to college to get a degree in writing. I want to play soccer and run my business while also in college, when I get out I plan to run my business still and also be a novelist. Even though it might seem like a lot, I love everything I do, I keep myself organized and love to spend time with my friends, its all a lot I know, but when you love something and have a goal of finishing it, everything just gets easier.
